I will start this post by thanking the team of Amwaj Rotana – Jumeirah Beach Residence for inviting me to try the Cherry Blossom Festival.
I was amazed by the taste of the food, it was divine.
To start, the staff recommended us to take a cocktail called Capri, it is composed of Watermelon Juice, Grapefruit Juice and Cherry Syrup. It was an excellent suggestion to refresh.
It was followed by the steamed Edamame.
And now it is becoming more exciting with the arrival of the King Crab Maki. It is made with Sushi Rice filled with King Crab, Broiled Water Eel and Japanese Seaweed, finished with Cherry Blossom and Cherry Unagi Sauce. It was a first time experience to taste those flavors together, it was a super delicious Maki.
And here comes the main course, Hanami Robatayaki. Grilled Canadian Lobster, Organic Salmon, King Prawns and Chilean Sea Bass, glazed in Teryaki Cherry Sauce, served with fried rice. The Seafood flavor was divine, it was so yummy. The best fried rice I have eaten till now in the UAE. And now while posting the picture i still remember the taste of this amazing platter.
Although I was so full after eating all of the above, i couldn’t resist when I tasted the Fruit Sorbet, it was so delicious and very light. Apple and Mango Sorbet accompanied by lychee and seasonal fruit.
Anyone who reads this post and lives in Dubai, should try these dishes. You have to hurry because the Cherry Blossom Festival will end on 31/3/2015.
You still have few days to try it. You shouldn’t miss that experience.
