JAMAICA BLUE® steps up the Street Food Revolution
Street food has been a perennial favorite for food lovers. Spanning across cuisines and regions, it has become a prominent feature of the new age dining experience, where it’s a common sight for people to choose a simple and sumptuous chicken burger, with a dash of pineapple over a three-course meal. Amidst this context Jamaica Blue retail coffee has introduced a new range of Jamaican street- food inspired Menus.
Many of the world’s top restaurant chefs are increasingly experimenting and innovating with street food. One such chef is Danika Heslop, Executive chef at Jamaica Blue. She opines “The beauty of the street food is simplicity, the best street food serves beautifully balanced flavors in every mouthful, which gives it the wow factor.” Street food, she says, cannot be mediocre because the vendors focus on that one dish and people are willing to line up for it.
Always a pioneer in café experiences, Jamaica Blue is credited with bringing premium coffee concoctions and its store cooked dishes to happy customers in UAE and around the world. And with the changing cosmopolitan culinary scene of UAE, Jamaica Blue has yet again spear-headed the food revolution with its signature Jamaican-inspired street food menu. “When we were researching traditional Jamaican flavors, for example, we found a lot of fruit and meat pairings,” adds Heslop.
Jamaica Blue Coffee Retail represents simplicity and indulgence, which is reflected in their street food menu. With the aim to produce classic street food dishes with a twist, the retail lays stress on balanced flavors that an amateur cook can easily replicate in his home kitchen.
At Jamaica Blue you will get nothing less than the premium- whether it is coffee or food. It aims at bringing to its customers the best of everything from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. And Jamaican street food is its flavor of the season.
As a Coffee retail chain, food is of significant importance and its emphasis is on fresh cooking. Having opened 12 outlets in UAE Mr. Umang Suri, CEO, Capital Group says “We have always believed in elevating the café experience in UAE with Jamaica blue®. And with the Jamaica street food menu, we, yet again, strengthen our commitment to our customers. With great locations and signature Jamaica blue menus, we have already received an unprecedented response from the UAE customers.”
Capital group has set up 12 Jamaica blue outlets in UAE. By the end of this year 5 more outlets shall be set up, with two of them already underway at Media City and Ibn Batuta Mall.
