I was invited to a breakfast and a tour at the Gulf Bagel Factory in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
They prepared us a royal breakfast with all kinds of bagels and bread.
There was ciabatta, english muffins, semolina bread, brioche, pretzels, mini baguette and bagels …
Thank you for Christopher Gauci and his team for this amazing breakfast and tour.
They prepared us fillings for the bagels and sandwiches, cream cheese with salmon, cream cheese with cinnamon, plain cream cheese and butter. The cream cheese with salmon was amazing!
This is the machine where they cut the dough and form the bagel shape.
The bagel are all in they tray and they have to be stored for few hours before they are kettle boiled.
It takes 18 hours to have a good bagel.
Bagels are kettle boiled.
The staff is putting seeds on the bagels.
Bagels are Par baked.
Here you can see the freshly baked sesame bagels.
Then the bagels are shock frozen at -20 degres Celsius and as you can see below, the staff is packing them at -2 degrees Celsius .
All the bagels are packed and ready to go.
