I was invited for the #Zomatomeetup at the Brasserie Quartier at beaux-arts inpired St Regis Hotel in Dubai on friday at the “Brunch at the Manor”.
Brasserie Quartier is a French restaurant and the “Brunch at the Manor” is not the regular brunch you have in other hotels.
Basically, they serve your the food on your table, except for a few food stations, like the bread, the cheese, the seafood, the delicatessen and the desserts.
Their brunch is not about the quantity of food but about the quality and they use only premium products.
While driving from the entrance toward the hotel, you feel like you are entering a Palace, there are green gardens with flowers on the right and left sides, a great place to enjoy and to relax these days in the cool weather. The seafood station: lobsters, smoked salmon, shrimps, coquilles St Jacques, mussels and Oysters. The delicatessen station with Chef Sofiane, several types of beef hams, foie gras and honey with gold flakes.
The foie gras I ate there was so creamy and tasty. It was the best ever foie gras that I ate till now. Usually we eat it with fig jam but on that day I tried it with the honey with golf flakes, Oh My! Divine…A very big selection of cheeses and port to match.
Is there a French on earth who doesn’t love cheese? J’adore le fromage. I love cheese and I wanted to try them all.
I tried a few of them and stopped as I have to keep space to try other food. The french pastry section.Baguette and fresh bread.A selection of French pastries, these raspberries croissants are amazing.Delicious shrimps and Coquilles St-Jacques for seafood lovers.Big red lobsters, Yum 🙂A selection of appetizers: croque-monsieur (the rectangle at the bottom of the pictures), snails in a light dough with parsley and garlic butter that melts in your mouth, onion tart, toast and black olive tapenade. All of them are prepared and presented in a modern way. They served us a few salads and here are two of them. This salad is my favorite with the Burrata Cheese.Premium Baked Salmon with vegetables.T-Bone Steak, Duck fillet and chicken, all premium quality and excellent taste. I am not a fan of duck but I have enjoyed it. My favorite was the steak, juicy and tender. And that’s my plate with the selection of meats. The pastry and cakes area, from the tables to the chair without forgetting the flowers. The flowers color is just amazing.A selection of cakes, cheesecake, lemon tart, macaron cake and an original tart fusion between the flan and the creme brulee.
That fusion tart is a must try when you visit BQ.The berries cheese cake!Mille-feuille and other selections of french pastries.
It was a Grandiose Experience, I highly recommend it.
