I was invited by the Amwaj Rotana Hotel team for a food preview of their new outlet JB’s Gastropub and I can tell you that their food is simply amazing.
They are serving an eclectic menu of British and American cuisine.
You can enjoy sharing platters and sausages by the metre, smoked meats and BBQ as well as draught beverages off the vines.
They also do sports screening and a live DJ create an avenue for good fun.
JB’s is now open for lunch and dinner daily from 12.30 p.m. at Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Over the weekends, guests can enjoy a late breakfast that runs from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
I tried this Grape Mocktail that is made from grape juice, lime and 60-day barrel aged smoked sugar. Mmmm loved it so much. For non alcoholic-drinks this is a great choice, and you can also try the Fragrance Mocktail that has vanilla, hazelnut, lemon, almon and sugar. I tried it as well and it was the first time I try this mixture with lemon, it is original.
A few tasty bread to eat with the flavorful ricotta cheese and green olive tapenade.
Grilled Octopus, roasted peppers, capers, garlic, potato & extra virgin olive oil (contains a splash of alcohol).
It is enjoyable.
Mixed Beetroot & Barrel-aged Feta, walnut salad & white balsamic.
Warm Tuna Nicoise, seared tuna, fingerling potatoes, green beans, boiled egg and Greek dressing.
Burrata, heirloom tomatoes & salsa verde.
Scotch Egg, JB’s signature recipe of egg, sage, pork and dill sauce.
It is so tasty.
Combo board, cured meats, cheese & olives perfect with their craft beer or wine.
My favorite food: Cheese and Charcuterie.

The Best Burger I have eaten so far in the UAE and I loved so much their homemade BBQ sauce, sweet and tangy.

9-hour Braised Beef Short Rib, horseradish mash, grilled broccoli and pan jus (contains alcohol), yum yum yum.
Fish n Chips, crisp beer-battered cod with hand-cut chips and mushy peans (contains alcohol).
House Signature Cut, angus steak, hot & sweet peppers, grilled onions, roasted bone marrow.
An excellent presentation for a super delicious steak cut.
Atlantic Salmon, crushed olives, tomatoes, basil, extra virgin olive oil & celeriac puree.
Crispy Bread Pudding Bites tossed with Cinamon Sugar served with Custard, a must try!
Orange & Pistachio Cake topped with Wild Berries & Mascarpone cream.
That was the first time I eat a soft pistachio cake, I highly recommend you to try it, you will love it and thank me for that.
The Strawberry Yum, “posh nosh” house ice cream sundae.
