I went to have dinner at Frankie’s Dubai as they were celebrating the culinary world of Italy from November 7th to the 20th with a host of Italy’s greatest chefs calling Dubai their home for the much-anticipated Italian Cuisine World Summit.
Chef Andrea Ribaldone, the Executive Chef of Michelin starred I Due Buoi working alongside the culinary team at Frankie’s Italian Bar & Grill led by Chef Giampaolo Pintore have prepared the below inspired menu.
Below a bread selection with tapenade, sun dried tomato paste and chick pea paste.

Their sommeliers selection is Le Rime, Chardonnay & Pinot Grigio.
Delicious soup with plenty of flavors.
Risotto zucca e amaretto
Pumpkin Risotto with ameretto biscuit
Their sommeliers selection is La Pettegola, vermentino.
It was an original risotto but very tasty!

Veal with Tuna by Chef Andrea Ribaldone
Their sommeliers perfect pairing is Col di Sasso, Cab Sauv & Sangiovese.

Fruit Compote with Gelato.
As I always mention honestly if I like a dish or not, I didn’t like the dessert.
The vanilla ice cream was very nice but I didn’t like the basil ice cream on top of it and I didn’t like the idea to eat vegetables with ice cream.
There was onions, carrots and leeks. I would have preferred fruits instead.
It was a very nice experience except the dessert.
