I went today to have lunch at Peppermill that recently opened at Dubai Festival City.
Peppermill serve Indian Cuisine with inventive recipes and alluring flavors to stimulate the palate and gratify the senses.
Their chef is very creative and has invented amazing dishes.
Presentation and taste are impressive.
We started with the below drink that were recommended to us.
The Passion Fruit Margarita was very refreshing!
And this is the signature drink of Peppermill.
It is called Kulfi Lassi.
Indian milk ice cream and yogurt shake with saffron.
It has an amazing taste!
I loved the idea of the Fattoush Alla Indie!
It was original and it was nice!
The below is called The Nest because it looks like 4 eggs in a nest!
It is masala pea crusted chicken dumplings, BBQ tamarind and yogurt.
The presentation was amazing!
It is exquisite…
The Kataifi Prawn are crunchy prawns.
It is crisp fried, pastry wrapped prawns, mango chili salsa and salad.
It is like you are eating a kunafa but with prawns 🙂
Yum, Yum and Yum!
I forgot the name of the below but that was made specially for us by the chef!
The Salmon Pepper Tikka was very tender and full of flavors!
Norwegian salmon, yogurt, dill and cracked pepper marinade, spinach and warm potato salad.
Well done Chef!
This is the Beef Soola!
Angus beef strip loin, Rajasthani robust spice rub, cooked on “coal sigdi” grill, “butta” corn
It was nice but a bit spicy for me.
Also for me the meat was dry as I like to eat it medium cooked, maybe I should have mentioned it to the waiter.
The Nalli Roganshosh was mouthwatering and very tender.
Braised baby lamb shanks curry from Kashmir, fennel, Kashmiri chili and yogurt stew.
And now we reach the desserts!
This one was my favorite, Coconut Cream and Pepper Corn Panacotta.
It has strawberry granita, fennel, thandai milk crumble, star anise flavor apricot compote.
It was very tasty!
The Gulab Jamun were very fresh and a bit warm!
Gulab Jamun, apricot and prune confit, mandarin rabadi.
This is the Kesari Rasmalai.
Sugar poached ricotta galettes, saffron Rabadi and pistachio cardamom shrikhand.
It was ok but not my favorite dessert.
I highly recommend you to try it!
