As Cielo Sky Lounge had revealed a brand new look and tantalizing menu featuring a host of international favorites, I decided to go and try it.
Cielo Sky Lounge is located at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Opposite City Centre Deira.
It is popular with residents and visitors alike for its perfect setting to watch the sunset in a chic and modern ambience, the sky lounge has now added an extensive food menu to the offering.
The menu features a variety of dishes including veg and non-veg options, sharing platters and scrumptious desserts too, coupled with an extensive cocktail offering boasting unparalleled views of the Dubai skyline.
From sunset to moonrise, the open air terrace is a setting like no other, with the latest addition being a picture perfect swing welcoming you at the entrance to help you work up an appetite as you make you way to the venue.
To start, we chose the Lobster Kibbeh.
Lebanese style croquette with lobster served lobster bisque sauce.
I was amazed when I saw this item the menu because I have never seen before the combination of lobster and kibbeh.
A great creation by the chef.
The kibbeh were amazingly tasty specially when you dip them in the lobster bisque sauce.
Then comes the Empanada Gaucha.
Chicken and beef minced with boiled egg, potato, olives and peppers in a pastry dough.
It was ok but I did not like it that much, however the presentation was perfect.
The Quinoa Salad was exquisite.
Fresh quinoa and vegetable salad dressed with citrus vinaigrette and herbs.
I have been eating a lot of quinoa salad in the restaurant and I was doing it a lot at home too, but I never tried it the same way Cielo Sky Lounge do it.
You must be saying, what is he talking about?! Tomato, cucumber, euh?
I am talking about the cooking of the quinoa.
It was just cooked a bit, not over cooked which made the taste so tasty.
From now on, I will cook my quinoa less time.
Reaching the main course, to start I took the Seafood Mix Grill.
Seabass, Seabream, hake, hammour, prawns, langoustines, clams, mussels, calamari.
It was divine! So tasty!
But I think they forgot to add the calamari 🙂
I highly recommend you this dish.
As we were still hungry, we decided to take the Carnivore BBQ delight 1kg.
Grilled chicken, lamb rack, beef steak, boerwors sausage served with baked potato.
They were so delicious however I would have preferred them with a sauce on the side.
Reaching the sweet part, we chose the famous Tres Leche.
Rich & sponge soft cake soaked in three kinds of milk.
It was mouthwatering and I say, a must try.
It was a great experience with an amazing view.
You will relax to the maximum!
