My dear readers,
Today I want to recommend you to try this award-winning Thai Restaurant, Benjarong Royal Thai where I had my lunch.
Benjarong is located on Level 24 at the Dusit Thani, Dubai.
Benjarong serve a Royal Thai Cuisine that highlight centuries-old recipes straight from the palaces of Thailand.
The restaurant’s majestic interior resembles the royal dining halls of King Rama IV, and the gentle sounds of their classically trained Thai musicians add to the authenticity of this unique dining experience.
A heavenly experience!
Let me start telling you about it…
We started with Goong Hom Sa Bai.
Deep fried shrimp roll wrapped in rice paper and served with plum sauce.
It was very crunchy and once dipped in the plum sauce, the taste became sweet.
The Neua Rue Gai Satai is so tender and so tasty!
Grilled marinated beef skewer flavored with turmeric and served with peanut sauce.
It was my favorite appetizer and a must try when you visit Benjarong.
The Som Tum Thai was original but I liked it a lot.
Green papaya salad with carrots, green beans, garlic, dried shrimps, chili, peanut and cherry tomatoes tossed in spicy lemon dressing.
The Phad Benjaron is not spicy at all and I enjoyed it.
Stir-fried chicken, prawns and calamari with vegetables in oyster sauce.
The Ped Yang Phad Bai Kraprao was flavorful!
Stir-fried roasted duck with chili and holy basil leaves.
In general, I avoid ordering duck as the taste is not always nice but today I decided to give it a chance.
It was amazing tasty but it was too spicy to me.
I still managed to eat it 🙂
The Goong Phad Med Mamuang was my favorite main course.
Stir-fried prawns with cashew nuts, mushroom, onion and dried chili.
This was divine!
The prawns were so juicy and flavorful.
A must try!
The Phad Thai was amazing too.
Stir-fried Thai rice noodles with tofu, bean sprout, ground peanuts, tamarind sauce and prawns.
I loved the presentation as well!
The Khao Neaw Mamuang is the most famous dessert they have.
Sticky rice flavored with pandanus and served with mango.
It was highly recommended to try it and I understood as soon as I have eaten the first bite!
The sticky rice is mouthwatering, yummy.
I could have eaten a big full bowl of this sticky rice.
A must try!
The Ice Cream Kra-Ti was delicious.
Coconut ice cream with peanuts.
If you have never tried Thai food, you should start your experience at Benjarong.
You will fell in love with it and you will thank me for my recommendation!
