Summer is over in Dubai and the winter started.
Finally we can sit outdoor and enjoy fresh air with cool winds.
I went last Friday to have a Brunch at Brunello at Kempinski Hotel & Residences at the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
Experience a taste of Italia inspired by the authentic setup of an Italian countryside Friday Brunch, La Dolce Vita.
So how does it work?
It is in 4 Episodes:
- Antipasti and Soup
- Pasta & Risotto
- Meat Dish
If you are seated outside, this is the paradise view that you can enjoy while having your brunch and listening to the music performed by the live band.
It was a relaxing afternoon while I enjoyed mouthwatering dishes!
A very chic setting!
A view to the garden…
Episode 1: Antipasti
Once you are seated, they bring you these toasts, one with foie gras, one with black tapenade and one with minced tomatoes.
Here you have the Salad Bar where you can get a ready made salad or you make your own.
These Vinaigrette Sauces are very special.
One is with raspberry and one with mango!
A must try…
Smoked salmon, roast beef, bresaola and some other smoked fishes.
All very fresh!
And you can eat and enjoy the authentic Italian Pizza.
The crust was amazing!
Episode 2: Pasta and Risotto
The Sauteed Crab Risotto with Saffron was exquisite!
And the Rigatoni with old fashioned minced veal ragout and Grano Padano Cheese was so tasty.
The taste of the minced veal with tomato sauce reminded me the taste of the bolognaise spaghetti that my mom makes.
Now you know how much I liked it 🙂
The Cold Seafood section, crabs, shrimps, mussels, clams, crab legs.
Yum, Yum, Yum.
A zoom on the Clams!
There was a very nice selection of Bread!
It was top of the top, there was some of the best cheeses you can think of.
I enjoyed eating them with honey and jams…
There was a lot of choices of main courses, this one is the steak with carrot.
Episode 3: Meat
This was the dish that was mentioned on the menu that was on our table. This menu changes from week to week.
Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder, Braised Endives and Thyme Jus.
It was a mouthwatering dish and the lamb shoulder was so tender that it was melting in my mouth…
Episode 4: Desserts
First we got the dessert on the menu which was the Affogato Al Caffe.
Vanilla Ice Cream with Coffee.
The below Desserts were so fresh and tasty!
The Carrot Cake was so light!
Some other desserts selection!
A big Well Done to the Pastry Chef for these Mic Mac Cakes.
It was so so so delicious…
This dessert had a heavenly taste, the picture speaks about itself!
At the end of the brunch, they give you a Cantuccini which is a Biscotti.
In Italy after having a brunch, you are not expected to have dinner in the evening, you take a few Cantuccinis and dip them in the wine and eat them.
