On Friday, I went to an Amazing Brunch at The Oberoi Hotel in Business Bay.
The Restaurant is called Waka and Waka serves Latin American, Peruvian and Japanese Cuisine.
Welcome to Waka Fiesta Latina Brunch!
It was something different that the regular brunches you go to.
Plus it’s Latin American!!!
The Ambiance was super amazing, the Samba Dancers were coming every 30 minutes to make their dance and entertain the people.
Waka has 3 different packages to choose from:
– The Non Alcoholic: AED 250
– The Waka House Drinks: AED 350
– The Waka Premium Drinks AED 480
I started with a Passion Fruit Mojito and it was so refreshing!
The only part of the Brunch that was on the display was the Ceviche and Salads.
And you can have as much as you want…
So there was Ceviche Del Mercado, Ceviche Sansei Tuna, Corn Salad and Green Salad.
I loved a lot the Green Salad, the dressing was perfectly done!
The Ceviche Del Mercado was very tasty.
The Corn Salad was something completely new for me.
I have never eaten soft big size corn that were white pinkish color.
I loved it so much that I can’t recall how may I ate of it 🙂
These are the Samba Dancers that made our brunch so enjoyable!
Then comes the Appetizers and they are served on your table and again you can request of them as much as you want!
The Wakamole was divine!
When they brought it to the table, the tortilla was on top of it and when they removed the tortilla from top, smoke came out from the guacamole!
It was the first time I eat a guacamole with a smoke flavor 🙂
The Chicken Anticucho was so tender and flavorful!
A new taste for me that I loved so much…
And here are the Makis.
We start with the Veggie Maki, delicious.
The Lima Maki was flavorful!
And the Abura Maki was so yummy!
Now we reached the main course and you can choose only 1 from a selection.
We started with the Chaufa.
Prawns, Calamari, scallops, fried rice, oyster sauce.
The picture speaks about itself 🙂
And I chose the Cazuela de Lubina.
Sea bass, Peruvian dry potato, aji, cheese, black mint.
I like a lot to eat sea bass and when I saw the other ingredients, it made me so curious to order it to see the taste.
So tasty and so delicious!
We are now at the end, here is the Dessert Platter.
Cheesecake, 3 Leches, Fruits and Sorbets
Altough i was so full, I couldn’t resist it…
My favorites from this selection is the 3 Leches Cake and the Sorbets.
Both of them are to die for.
You gotta try it!
It is something new to you if you have never tried Latin American Cuisine!
