As Carnival by Tresind have launched Season 4 La La Land two months ago and I went few days ago to try their new menu.
Carnival by Tresind is located in Burj Daman, DIFC.
They changes their menu 4 times a year which is something not easy at all.
Carnival by Tresind is a celebration of Indian food, where Indian food comes of age to shed its erstwhile glamorous modern avatar and take leaps ahead to enter the post modern era.
They have A La Carte Menu and Chef Table Menu Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian.
I prefer the Chef Table Menu, do you know why?
Because I don’t have to choose what to eat, I like surprises and it has amuse bouche, soup, appetizers, main courses and desserts.
You have to try it!
To start we ordered a Sangria.
We were surprised when they brought to our table, the Sangria served in a plastic bag hanged on a decorated tree.
Then I got this Mocktail 🙂
The Amuse Bouche came in a tray that looked like a garden.
Don’t forget the theme is La La Land 🙂
This is the soup!
Chicken Soup for the Soul 🙂
A butter chicken soup, it was so delicious…
Farm to plate is our Salad.
Coucous, Lettuce and Spice Roast Beef.
Let’s start with starters now, I am so excited, yum!
The Pulliinji, south Indian Ginger Prawns, palm sugar caramel and curry leaf crisp.
A bit crispy from outside, juicy from inside and as you bite it, you will feel the heavenly flavors…
The Jungle Book!
Why did they got us a book?
No it wasn’t a book, as I opened it I saw this Braised Lamb Leg Morsels.
So tender and so tasty!
What an amazing idea of presentation 🙂
Vada Pav Service.
Wow, that is amazing!
This is the vegetarian snack of Mumbai mill workers, presented this way to show us the authenticity and origin of this snack.
It was mouthwatering!
Now, we finished the Appetizers and we will start the Main Courses.
To restart our palates, they served us Apple Sorbet served in a Frozen Green Apple.
And we ordered another set of drinks.
The below is something with Tequila 🙂
And that’s mine, a Mocktail with Pineapple…
Rice n Shine
Choice of Biryani, Eggplant Saalan, Burhani Raita
Saag Gosht, Masala Chicken, Assorted Bread
I love eating all these assortment with the naan and I love so much the way it is served.
I loved so much the below dish!
The taste was divine…
But I don’t know it’s name.
It has rice, mushrooms and truffles!
Loved it so so much 🙂
This is the Gajak.
And prepared on our table.
The waiter will place a thick plastic table cloth on your table and he will start drawing with different chocolates and peanut butter.
Then he will place a big white chocolate ball in the center.
Later on, he will carry the ball and drop it on the table.
Once broken, you will see brownies, Ice Cream, peanuts and other sweet deliciousness…
Then you can start enjoying it!
Pear Tarte Tatin, La La Land way 🙂
A must try!
Karak tea served from the bicycle 🙂
As it is Christmas Season now, they served us Chocolate from this nicely decorated presentation.
Both the Snowman and the Christmas Tree are fully made from chocolate.
These Macaroons were given to us at the end as it is for the end of the meal.
You have to try Carnival by Tresind, Season 4 – La La Land and experience it!
