I went last Thursday t have lunch at Mado in Jumeirah Beach Road.
Mado is a Turkish Restaurant that serves Authentic Turkish Cuisine.
As the weather is cool these days, you can enjoy sitting outside in Mado Garden or if you prefer to stay indoor, they have a very chic seating 🙂
I preferred to stay outdoor to enjoy the weather and the fresh air.
It was a pleasant experience and I would definitely come back.
If you feel you want a delicious Turkish Ice Cream, Macaroons, Bakery items, you can also pass by and choose what you want.
Freshly baked Simit and other breads…
I started with this fresh Pomegranate Juice.
Here start the Appetizers 🙂
I took the Cold Mezza Platter to be able to taste a maximum of mezza.
It was an excellent selection that was delicious.
A Mixed Borek Platter: Cheese, Potato and Spinach fillings.
It was nice but I would have prefer to eat them very hot.
The Fried Kibbe is a must try and the Rocket Salad with cheese was very fresh.
On the right, the Artichoke with Olive Oil was good.
The Cheese Village Pizza on the left was so tasty and mouthwatering.
Let’s talk now about the Main Courses.
While checking the Menu, I was attracted by this dish: The Cetlik Kebab.
Beef tenderloin sauteed in tomato sauce and meatballs served with shredded crispy fries.
Actually, when I received the plate, I forgot about the beef tenderloin, but when I was taking a bit of fries, I saw the tomato sauce and the beef.
Wow, what a dish!
I loved it so much 🙂
The Lamb Chops was tender and flavorful!
The Hanging Skewers!
Look how nice is it 🙂
I struggled a lot to take the picture, there was a lot of wind last thursday when I was having lunch and the skewers were moving from right to left and vice versa.
Finally after several shots, got one clear 🙂
Grilled Chicken, Meat Cubes, Meatballs served with aciliezme, yogurt, hummus, eggplant puree and bulgur.
You should order the Hanging Skewers when you visit Mado, you will enjoy it a lot and as you can see from the description, it has some mezza as well…
Who can skip a Dessert after a meal?
Ice Cream Filled Crunchy Layers, the description says crunchy but it wasn’t that crunchy last Thursday, it was a bit hard but this didn’t stop me eating it because I enjoyed so much the taste.
I found out that in between the layers of Baklava there is a layer of halva which I loved.
The Pistachio Sobiyet was nice.
The Ice Cream Layers!
You can choose from a very big list of Ice Cream flavors, sauces and topping.
The Ice Cream was divine!
And for those who have kids, you don’t have to worry as they have a kids area 🙂
You should visit Mado and enjoy Turkish food in their garden or in their chic interior seating!
