My dear Readers,
As Le Patio located at The St Regis Dubai unveiled a fresh new menu, I decided to go and try it.
The St Regis Dubai is nestled in the heart of the city and it is Dubai’s award-winning Middle Eastern dining destination.
With the cool weather, the majestic outdoor terrace invites guests to discover the authentic flavours and rich heritage of traditional Arabic cuisine.
Newly appointed Chef, Kareem Ali and his exceptional culinary brigade unveil a carefully curated menu featuring signature dishes including a selection of tantalizing appetizers, salads and light-bites as well as traditional favourites and rich desserts to complete your dining experience.
Chef Kareem invites guests to experience a culinary journey like no other.
Taking you on a complete sensory journey, Le Patio’s hubbly bubbly menu offers a diverse selection of unique flavours, including its very own, signature Le Patio Blend.
With a tranquil and soothing atmosphere, complemented by the wonderful weather, Le Patio makes for the perfect dining destination this season.
Le Patio is open everyday from 5pm to 5am.
The Lentil Soup was very tasty.
A rich homemade soup…
The Fried Kibbeh are a must try.
The Cajun Calamari was very flavorful, crispy from the outside and tender from inside.
The Perfect Fried Calamari!
This is the Lamb Pide.
I was expecting to see the original shape of the Turkish Pide but here at Le Patio it looks as a Pizza.
It was nice but I would have preferred to have more cheese on it and even some cheese about the minced lamb!
The Watermelon and Feta Cheese Salad was an original dish as it has hummus quinoa and asparagus.
The Watermelon looks very ripe but it isn’t in real.
I asked Chef Kareem and he explained to us that they put it in a bag where they remove the air but before removing the air they put some maple syrup and some cinnamon. They should do it 24 hours prior so it has these flavors.
As I didn’t feel this taste while eating it, he told me that he did it a bit late on that day and that is why it didn’t have the taste that it should have had.
Chef Kareem putting his final touch on the Crusted Dukkah Lamb Rack.
I asked them to cook it on medium.
The lamb chops were very tender and with so much flavor.
The mashed potato below it was so tasty and they told me that it had green peas mixed with it, that why it is green 🙂
This is the Grilled Seabass and you can see on the right side the eggplant caponato.
The fish was grilled to perfection and I have enjoyed my dish!
The Cheese Kunafa was so yummy!
I spent a very nice time at Le Patio on that evening after work.
I enjoyed a lot the outdoor seating with this great weather.
If you smoke shisha, you can choose from a very big selection of flavors.
