I went last Saturday to have dinner at The Royal Budha located at Holiday Inn Hotel in Al Barsha.
Now during the week end Saturday & Sunday, they have a Thai Vibes Night from 11pm to 3am.
You can dance to the beat of their very own Thai resident DJ Titary.
DJ Titary is a well-known Thai performer and has played at around 7 destinations in the world including Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Japan, Nepal, Laos and now in Dubai @ The Royal Budha.
Acoustic’ sounds, free entry, loads of selfies, live Thai cooking, Thai beer bucket, special drinks offer and generous discounts on selected beverages, there is a lot that they want to spoil you with … add to this, a central stage for those who want to let loose on the dance floor.
I went at 8pm before the party starts to have dinner as I have work the following day and I could not stay late.
I started with the below appetizer.
I chose it because it is a platter where I get to try several things.
Apart from the Prawn Cake and Chicken Stay that was nice, I didn’t enjoy the rest.
The Spring Roll was a bit oily and I didn’t like the taste of the salad.
Overall it was ok, the main courses were better than the appetizers.
The Tom Yam soup was very spicy for me, I wasn’t able to eat it.
The Hor Mok Talay Ma Prow Onn was very nicely presented in a coconut.
It is a steamed mix seafood of squid, prawns, seabass fillet with coconut milk and red thai curry paste.
It was tasty!
The Goong Phad Phong Kra Ree is their Signature Dish with wok fried prawns.
It may not look very appetizing but it was delicious.
The below is Pineapple Fried Rice with Prawns, very nice presented and tasty.
In Thai it is called Khao Phad Sapparot Goong.
The Pad Thai Noodle was yummy!
