Ramadan Sawa at the Constellation Ballroom
Mark the special season with nothing but the best of traditional hospitality that celebrates our rich Arabian heritage with a touch of modern style.
I went last week to the Iftar preview at The Address Dubai Marina.
Enjoy the stylishly elegant setting of their contemporary Constellation Ballroom, seating up to 420 guests, on the 4th floor.
There is a very big choice of food.
I couldn’t take picture of everything because I was going to do that, I will have more than 100 pictures 🙂
They have several types of cuisine: arabic, indian, asian, etc…
There is also a very big station of grills not forgetting the desserts.
Traditional in theme and lavish in diversity, their grand Iftar buffet features an extensive selection of Arabic and International favourites, live stations, a variety of authentic sweets and desserts, and the refreshingly tasty Ramadan juices. As a special treat, their chefs will also present authentic Emirati dishes such as Lafayef khoboz falazi, Robyan mashwi, Tekat deyay and a range of traditional Emirati desserts such as Leqaimat, which will rekindle the memories of childhood. A live oud player will add to the authenticity.
I couldn’t try all the dishes obviously but I tried some of them.
The muhamara was very tasty.
This potato salad is amazing!
Nothing better than home cooking dishes like the zucchini and the red pepper filled with rice and meat.
The zucchini is called in the Middle East “Coussa Mehshi”.
Reaching the dessert, well I cannot tell you how big it is, you will see it when you go there.
Make sure to keep some spaces so you can try as much as you can 🙂
Mouthwatering Arabic sweets.
I recommend you to go during Ramadan to try it! You will thank me for that 🙂
