I went last Friday to have lunch at Reem Al Bawadi located at the Marina Walk in Dubai Marina.
Reem Al Bawadi is a Lebanese Restaurand, they have 5 branches in Dubai (Dubai Marina, Al Safa, Downtown Dubai, Jumeirah 3 and Al Muteena)
For those living in the UAE, you must know Reem Al Bawadi as it has been here since very longtime.
They have a big selection of fresh juices and I chose the Pomegranate and the Pineapple.
A very good mix of antioxidant and vitamin C.
It was very refreshing!
Let’s start with the cold mezze.
In general, whenever I am at a Lebanese retaurant I start with a tabboule but on Friday, I decided to choose another salad this time for a change.
I chose the Jarjeer Salad, fresh rocket leaves topped with tomato, white onions, sumac powder with a crumbly white cheese served with a lemon-olive oil dressing.
I was so happy from my choice and I recommend you to try it.
It was so delicious!
I also ordered the Hummus with Pine Seeds, but forgot to take the picture, it was yummylicious!
Then the Kibbeh Nayah, freshly ground raw lamb flavoured with chili paste, fine bulgur and a selection of Middle Eastern spices.
You will tell me, what you ate raw meat? Yes why not.
As long as it is freshly grounded and very fresh, there is nothing wrong with it.
It was mouthwatering!
After the Kibbeh Nayah, we ate the Fried Kibbeh.
We ate the Kibbeh in different forms 🙂
The Chicken Liver is amazing!
The Sujuk with Pomegranate Molasses was divine!
A must try not to miss…
Let me present you now the Reem Al Bawadi Mixed Seafood platter!
Grilled hammour fillet, gulf shrimps, Sultan Ibrahim fish, mussels and calamari.
A very nice selection of seafood that we enjoyed!
It was very very tasty!
And now for meat lovers, let me present you the Reem Al Bawadi Mixed Grill platter.
Lamb cubes, kabab halabi, shish tawook, Lebanese kafta, kabab khash-khash, meat arayes and lamb chops.
The authentic taste of the Middle East!
We were so full by now, but when they served us this Mixed Selection of Arabic Sweets, we couldn’t resist and ate all of them 🙂
I can only say Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!
Ashta Cream & Honey
A thick clotted cream prepared with rose water orange blossom water, topped with honey and pistachio!
I highly recommend you to visit any branch of Reem Al Bawadi and experience the authentic taste of the Lebanese Cuisine in the United Arab Emirates.
For those who like Shisha, they have an amazing selection as well.
