“A Heaven called Kempinski Hotel & Residences, Palm Jumeirah”
Last evening I went to have the Iftar at the Layali Tent at the Kempinski Hotel & Residences at Palm Jumeirah.
The Kempinski Hotel will open by the end of this year but the Layali Tent is at the Kempinski Residences.
I got the chance to have a tour at the hotel and see one of their apartments and I was amazed by everything.
In the below pictures, you can see the dessert stations, it has an Arabic and international varieties.
The two palm trees are hand made and made of fresh dates…
Enjoy your Iftar while listening to the live oud players.
The Iftar is priced at only AED 185.
The chef is opening one of the main dishes!
There was a lot of cold appetizers and hot appetizers, from tabboule, fattoush, falafel, samboussak, fatayer, etc…
The moudardra which is rice and lentil was very tasty!
The hummus and labne were amazing too!
There was live station where the chef was making saj manakish with zaatar, labne and cheese.
So fresh and nothing better than eating freshly made manakish!
The lamb ouzi was mouthwatering and very tender.
It was nice that they made the rice in orange color, a change from the traditional!
These are chicken moussakhan, it looks a bit like a shawarma but it has another taste!
The Kebbe Bi Laban, which is kebbe balls in cooked laban was my favorite dish.
I have eaten several dishes of it last night.
A very well done to the Chef, you made it perfect.
The grilled shish taouk and kefla was flavorful and tender.
The carrot cake, date maamoul, halawe bi jebn and fresh fruits were all so tasty!
And this is one of my favorite desserts: Aish Al Saraya!
Yum Yum Yum…
I highly recommend you to go and have your Iftar at the Layali Tent at Kempinski Hotel & Residences, Palm Jumeirah.
