Watch this space for update 🙂
My dear readers,
I took a long time to post this recipe although I have done immediately after my visit to the IGR Organic Farm.
I took the below organic ingredients from the farm and I made this dish:
And the below ingredients are from my cupboards:
And the Preparation is very easy:
It was very tasty and tender!
As much as you can, avoid the regular chicken and eat organic or natural chickens.
Can you believe that there is an Organic Farm in the middle of the desert?
The IGR Certified Organic Farm is located in Al Rahba in Abu Dhabi, around an hour drive from Dubai.
The farm is open to the public every Saturday from 9am till 4pm.
You can visit the farm and pick your own vegetables.
It is a great experience for kids and for adults too…
I have enjoyed a lot my time there and I decided to go more often.
In addition to the vegetables, they also have animals, you can see the pictures below.
This is the green house of the cucumber.
This is the green house of the capsicum.
What a tasty and fresh cucumber!
The Green Capsicum!
I picked this eggplant and I made an organic Mutabal.
I will share the pictures of what I cooked in another post.
Subscribe to my newsletter to be always updated.
The Kale Heaven!
I picked a big bunch of parsley and made a delicious organic Tabbouleh!
They have several type of peppers!
There is a lot more of vegetables but I stopped here for today, more to follow in another post shortly.
Now, let’s continue the trip and see the animals.
These pigeons eat only organic food.
They have a lot of goats, from different colours, different sizes, different breeds.
And yes, you and your children can feed them!
Organic Chicken and Rooster roaming freely.
You can also go in and look for freshly laid eggs that you can buy.
And cute rabbits!
There are plenty hiding below the sand in their houses.
Ducks and Turkeys!
Turkey can be ordered a week in advance…
They even have an Ostrich!
This was my favorite!
I loved so much this cute little boy…
For the Cake
For the Frosting
This cake was a big success!
Hello my dear readers!
Who doesn’t like to eat Pizza?
I love it a lot but I try to avoid it in general as eating a full pizza has a lot of carb and calories.
I got the idea of doing a pizza with a zucchini base, a super easy quick way.
I will share with you my recipe.
The result was a mouthwatering pizza.

They were very tasty as well.

Healthy food can be very tasty and although that Govinda’s doesn’t use any onion or garlic, the dishes are so flavorful that you will not even feel that something is missing.
